Privacy

What stays on your device

Your birthday, life settings, milestones and children's ages are saved only in this browser and never sent to us or anyone else. "Clear my data" on the home page removes all of it.

What is part of a link

The numbers you visualise are in the page address (for example /dots/1-in-10000), so every view can be shared. Your birthday is never put in a link.

Analytics (only if you accept)

If you accept, Google Analytics counts which pages and buttons are used, so we can improve Dotwise. It gets the kind of page (like "a story") and, like any website, your browser type and IP address — never the numbers, dates or anything you type.

If you reject, Google Analytics is never loaded.

Cookies

Dotwise sets no cookies of its own; Google Analytics sets its cookies only after you accept. Change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" (here or at the bottom of the home page); "Clear my data" also resets it.

Fonts

The Manrope typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address.

What we don’t do

No accounts, no advertising, no analytics without your consent. We never sell or share your data.

Changes

If how Dotwise handles data changes, this page changes first, with a new date.
